Despite ending up on the losing side, John Barnes in the World Cup Quarter-Final against Argentina.

Coming on after 74 minutes, he caused havoc down the left setting up Lineker's goal and almost creating an equaliser.

Harty a few years ago. Off the bench misses a sitter tells dean wilkins to F off and gets sent off all in about 5 minutes..

Bas Savage against Southend at home a few years back, came on with about 10 minutes left when we were losing 2-1, completely changed the game and we eventually won 3-2!

I was going to mention Potts too but glad to see so many others remember it as well.

I was there, only 15 years old and on the East Terrace. The orginal 'Ginger Prince' was such a lightweight, and we were dead and buried, but somehow he turned this on its head, and it produced probably the biggest surges I have ever witnessed, in both the North and the East stands.

Marvellous scenes Jeff.
