I accept the argument that Falmer is the only option for a stadium, and am behind the idea, but i ask this:

If Dick Knight had made the decision to build the new stadium on a different site (obviously one that was not as suitable for a Football Ground, e.g Sheepcote, Toads Hole), would we have moved in by now?

Yes, almost certainly.

Yes, we would and the ground would be hosting the 2007 Champions League Final and Brighton would be playing in Europe.

Seriously you think we would.

If so it looks like another big own goal from DK and Perry.

I couldn't care less where the stadium is in fact Falmer seems a worse and worse idea the more i read into it.

Where is this other site where the big own goal was scored?

I like own goals. I saw three of them in the first half-hour at the recent UEFA Cup game I saw at Sevilla.

So you think if Dick Knight could jump in the time machine and go back to 1998, he would still choose Falmer as the site for the stadium?

Fair enough chaps:)

Be honest: that must give a sense of satisfaction akin to pulling the wings of a particularly small and very slightly irritating gnat?
