What do you enjoy about the Withdean Experience?

Also, the freaks and weirdos - the screamer in J block, the left-right-left-right SAS steward, Ben Elton's Brother...

Like - The cheeseburgers & the evening game atmosphere.

Dislike - Getting soaked or frozen. The 'We're the southstand, we're....' song - it's GAY! The walk to 'J' block. When we lose.

Cant be botherd to look back and see if this has been mentioned, but I really miss the Banner man!

Poor guy only had to show the raffle results, and got a constant flow of "Get that fcuking bored out the way"...The whole thing becomes funnier because it was at half time anyway, so he wasn't exactly obstructing our view.

Likes = Having a great view of the game from my seat in H Block. Only having a 10 minute journey to and from the game. Watching the away fans getting absolutely drenched in the driving rain and knowing that they're probably all vowing that this is the one and only time they visit this shit hole.

Dislikes = Getting drenched in the driving rain knowing that this will NOT be the one and only time I visit this shit hole. Rocket man. Lack of atmosphere.

like: the number of characters I see from the Goldstone, Gillingham and away matches, knowing where they sit every week and watching how they react to a bad refereeing decisions, fouls, etc

the fans who charge down the gangways to remonstrate with the ref

dislike: Paul Samrah's efforts to manufacture an atmosphere "come on South Stand, come on North Stand let's get behind the Albion" in a near hysterical voice.

the MP "fans" who never buy a ticket, programme, etc

miss: ticketless/skint/tight fans climbing over the Withdean fences and being chased up and down the banks by Stewards

All going off memory from last season but ....

Likes:
1) getting soaked --- especially bradford last season... that was manic but great.
2) The stamping feet is great
3) The trains whizzing past.
4) The first glimpse of the withdean coming up tongdean.
5) The bustle for a bus back to the university site.
6)Danny Cullip clapping the south stand after every game.
7) The walk along the track..
8) watching the players warm up on a saturday match
9) Soccer Sunday once caught me on the camera at the match and I was on Tele !!!
10) The away subs warming up near us and gettting loads of abuse.
11)my old seat. South Stand, Block J, Row B, Seat 216.
12) My season ticket booklet thingee from last season
13) Singing "can you hear the .... fans sing ... nooo" song to the away crowd.
14) not having the sun in your eyes (south standers !!!)
Dislikes:

1) sitting on a wet chair
2) not enough space for you and the fat guy to sit next to you without him encroaching on your chair too.
3) not having a season ticket this season ( reffing too much )
4)not enough spare tickets (even though I dont try that hard to get a ticket.)

miss: my seat.

Being back in Brighton (though roll on Falmer)
(Most) of the results there
The fact that away fans hate it so much
The fact that the walk back to Mill Road forces me to take some exercise
The view (being somewhat vertically challenged I used to struggle in the North Stand, though I would much rather still be at the Goldstone)

Dislikes:

No roof (think of the atmosphere we could generate if there were one)
Getting wet and freezing cold
Being told to sit down and shut up if I criticise refereeing decisions
£450 or £23.50 to sit in the wet

The H Block crew. Fantastic. There is always a giggle.
Singing.
The stewards. Most have a laugh with us at H Block
The Screamer

Dislikes:
The carroling of songs and chants. If we all sing at the same time its a lot better.
The Golden Goal. I lost the other week as Leon had to retake the penalty. Its a complete rip off.

Bring back the Boadman so Krispies can shout at him, and the Rocket Man.
