In the field
most reflects your childhood/youth?

You often hear people harping on about some band or other being 'the music of an entire generation'.

For me, it is probably Oasis.

No one band. But if I had to name several then they would be, in no order,

Sham 69
Motorhead
Purple
Pistols
Buzzcocks
Magazine
Ultravox (early Jon Fox days)
The Clash
Slaughter and the Dogs
The Drones
Ed Banger and the Nosebleeds
and one or two others.

Oasis made me

Green Day , Nirvana, The Clash , The Sex Pistols , The Stranglers shaped me

The Jam made me less angry

which is weird , because most of those band were before "my generation"
