We're about to apply and hope to start building in April.

Bloody hell, whilst that's obviously good news for you and football in general, it nevertheless really pisses me off sometimes. Every other team just seems to have to ask nicely and they'll get a nice stadium good and quickly, whilst we on the other hand have to jump through hoop after hoop after hoop after hoop just to get anywhere.

Plymouth had their ground rebuilt a few years back

So did we.

only difference we got a drive thru Burger King, DFS, Toys R Us, The Sports Shop and they got a new West Stand, a new North Stand and a new South stand

The Causeway Stadium in Wycombe has beautiful Chiltern countryside behind it. I saw a Red Kite flying around during our last match there (the time we staged a sit-in). I know it's on an industrial estate, but it's the last building and must have taken up a fair bit of greenfield land.
