'cask conditioned lager'

it's pale, it's nicely hoppy, it's not gassy, it's Scottish, it's 4.8% and they've got it on tap in the Sussex Cricketer

it's bloody lovely

Think it's about the only cask conditioned lager there is, isn't it? How does it compare with the dishwater most pubs serve, PSG? Still a real ale man really. The pint of Harveys Old I had at the Royal Oak in London the other week was out of this world. Top:drink:

Isn't "cask conditioned lager" a contradiction in terms?

On the other hand, I would happily sell a kidney for a decent pint of Harveys Old :drink:

it's not fizzy! it's more like a gulping belgian beer or a light wheat beer

think 'Schneider Weizen' but more hops and less cloudy

lovely stuff
