I think I have about £17.00, (yes seventeen) bought for me by my Dad in the late 50's early 60's. Can only recall one win, about 5 years ago, of £50.00. Still, I suppose that's value of a sort.

I can confirm that the more recent bonds are a better bet. I had a £1 bought for me in 1960 when i was born and won f** all in 40 odd years. About 3 years ago, i bought £30,000 and have had loads of wins with these recent ones
