I remember watching Trossard against .Everton when he first joined and couldn’t believe someone so good played for us. He was rapid and direct.
What’s happened to him? He’s just......meh. Sucked into the nothingness that is the Brighton forward line

Completely agree, I remember seeing his early games for us at the Amex last season. Thought he looked a top 4 player.

Like Maupay, maybe lack of confidence?

I miss Murray. I never believe we’re gonna score. Maupay has turned into a side foot and hope type of guy. Burn playing well. Playing in his natural position.

Thing is Connolly IS good at running behind but he can’t finish. So it does feel like we don’t have the type of forward we need for this style.

To be fair, we do not have anyone who is a reliable goal scorer.
Connolly’s energy is worth something.
Until we get an upgrade I’d start him.
