Official BHAFC have now tweeted: "Apologies to those fans who received the text welcoming them to the Amex. Please ignore, it was sent in error by a third-party supplier."

Then they tweeted the same message again a minute later.

It's just one of those little reminders that behind the new flash professional front of the Albion, there's still a little bit of Fawlty Towers going on behind the scenes.

I find it comforting.
