I accidentally put jam on some toast once which already had marmite on when I was drunk

Sound nice. You'd need a bit of mayo to glue it all together and stop it falling out, and maybe some chilli sauce for a bit of extra zing.

Nothing wrong with fishfinger and beans sandwiches

Neither is there with:

Grated cheese, salad cream and marmite (optional raw onions)

or

Cheese, mango chutney and crisps (s+v) (optional raw onions)

or

Tuna and banana

Placse I used to work at many years ago (older viewers will realise how long ago shortly) there was a sandwich shop that had a variety of strange offering.

One was a 'Carterburger' which was peanut butter on a burger and another was a banana and onion sandwich.
