On the subject of gambling, while I was in the bookies at lunch time today selecting my footy bets for the weekend, I noticed a guy on the roulette machine who must have put £200-£300 through the bloody thing. Surely these things are programmed to win?? Anyone else play these?

Those machines are pure evil.The heroin of gambling.I have not played on one for about six years now and i'm in a bookies almost every day-not the slightest bit tempted at all.The thing is they're so popular though! About 90% of shop business is through those monsters.

Off course they are. Otherwise they wouldn't be in there. They are programmed to hook you in and are far more dangerous than friuit machines because in fruit machines you only really put in relatively small amounts at one time.

A guy a work said lots of bookies now take debit/credit card chip and pins, meaning you don't even need the cash on you. Surely now that with casino's allowing easy entrance to non members, people would be better of going here for roulette?
