A TEXAS tycoon who owns two big American Major League Soccer sides is hoping to buy Crystal Palace.

Clark Hunt, 45, was one of the driving forces in setting up the MLS, and was linked with a bid for West Ham six months ago.

He owns MLS sides Columbus Crew and FC Dallas, as well as American football team Kansas City Chiefs, who compete in the NFL.

We'll see though.

He inherited his teams from his father Lamarr Hunt. The Kansas City Chiefs were originally the Dallas Texans but he moved the francise. Maybe his son with see Selhurst, realise what a shoit hole it is and relocate Palace to Somerset. Call them the Taunton Tossers maybe.
