Here you go Morris:

What’s the ground like?
At one end is the comparatively new single tiered, South Stand (capacity 1,336 seats), which replaced a former open terrace. An unusual feature of this stand is that it is raised above pitch level, meaning that you have to climb a small set of steps at the front to reach the seating area. The Main Stand, which has been reduced in length is still a fair size; this partly covered stand is now all seated after having seating installed on the former front terrace. Unfortunately, it has several supporting pillars and the roof doesn't quite cover all of the front seating. It does though have an interesting gable on its roof which has 'Leyton Orient' proudly emblazoned across it. Opposite is the new West Stand which was opened for the 2005/06 season. This all seated stand which has a capacity of 2,500, has an unusual look about it, as above the seating area is a tall vertical structure, that houses the Club offices. It also has some corporate hospitality areas that overlook the ground.

The North End of the ground is currently unused. The former terrace has been demolished in preparation for the building of a new Stand. The new North Stand will be similar in design to the existing South Stand, with a capacity of 1,500. It is intended that this will in the future house away supporters. However, it is unclear as to when the building of this stand might commence. The Club have also sold a part of the Brisbane Road site to a property developer, which will mean at some point that in each corner of the ground, blocks for residential use will also be constructed.

Where to drink
The nearest pub to the ground is the Coach & Horses. To get there take a right out of Leyton station and walk down for about half-a-mile. It is on your left, within sight of the floodlights. The Three Blackbirds has been recommended to me and that is a bit further up Leyton High Road, on the right. Stephen Harris adds; 'the best pub near to the ground is the Birkbeck Tavern in Langthorne Road, behind the tube station'.

Road directions
Thanks to O-Net for the following directions: Approaching London you will at some point hit the M25. Use this to get to the M11 (unless you're coming from Cambridge, in which case you'll already be on it) take the southbound carriageway for about 6 miles and take the right fork signposted for the North Circular.

At the bottom of the flyover where the roads merge, move into the left-hand lane and turn left at the roundabout on to the A104. After about 1 mile at the next roundabout take the right exit - still the A104 (a landmark here is the quaintly-decorated Lamb's Cafe). Half a mile further on, turn left into Leyton Green Road (signposted to Leyton and Stratford), and left again into a short slip-road past the bus garage entrance and left into Leyton High Road - you'll see the Leyton Leisure Lagoon opposite as you wait to make the turn. Continue until you see the floodlights and then find a side turning to park in the back-streets. Street Parking.

By tube
The nearest tube station is Leyton (about a 1/4 of a mile away) which is on the Central Line. Come out of the station and turn right down Leyton High Road. Cross over the road to the other side and continue down it. You will come to Coronation Gardens on your left and the floodlights of the ground can be clearly seen behind them. Take the next left past the gardens into Buckingham Road for the ground.

Entrance Prices
Executive Area: Adults £30, Concessions £24
Main, West & South Stands (Seated) £16 Concessions: £10
Away Supporters (Main Stand Seats) £16 Concessions: £10.

I was at Coventry and have been at every home game this season and our passing in general is awful.

We all tend to bunch up on one wing or the other, pass the ball in little five yaurd triangles then either lose the ball or it goes back to Butters who nails it down the line in the air.

We rarely switch the play effectively and never stretch teams well.

Normally we all group up, someone loses the ball, the other team switch it and we are all out of shape and lopsided leaving their winger with half the pitch to run at our full back.

The point I was making was that even League 2 teams pass it better then us.

In one game Richie... one game, I trust you don't make all your decisions on a sample size of one.

9 games out of 10 we would beat Orient. We may be poor at the moment by Championship standards but get a grip man :jester:

Sorry about spelling yard wrong. I knew it looked weird with a u in.

I have only seen Craig Easton play once but he looked pretty useful and he is being raved about in the press today. That said, the papers have been full of Mackie's central defensive partner but he looked a bit shakey.

I am not suddenly in love with Orient or stupid enough to realise they will have upped their game considerably BUT it is still very frustating when you see a team two leagues lower then us pass the ball about so much better then we do 24 hours after watching our woeful performance against Coventry.

Perhaps Mark McGhee should take your advice here Ritchie. Lets have him invite Ling and the Leyton Orient team down to Falmer to train with the Albion squad this week, to help show them how to pass the ball around and stuff. It could be a valuable learning exercise. We really should be more open to new and innovative ideas such as being trained by 4th division teams in the art of passing and movement.

Its such a great idea, it probably hasn't even occurred to McGhee. Why not suggest it to him ?

Give Ritchie a break - he's only saying that Orient are better than Brighton. Which is probably true and hopefully we will find out the truth next year.

...saw the Orient game yesterday and they played some lovely football throughout and thoroughly deserved the win.

They didnt play CRAP little 5 yaurd passes, they switched it from side to side at pace and their movement was excellent.

Shane Tudor, John Mackie (who I said we should sign when he was released by Reading) and Easton were all excellent and would improve our team.

They passed it when they could and played safe when they had to, they hassled, played with passion and variety and looked a far better team then we have in recent months.

Thanks.

we have played the prettiest football in this league for the past two seasons. I think we have enough bite this year to go straight up.

You've been very restrained Twatty. I was expecting Monday morning to find a least one thread gloating about how you'd beaten Premiership opposition whilst we couldn't get past some one of our own level.

Go on, have a gloat, you don't get the chance very often!

(Congrats BTW).

I wonder how well they passed the ball when they lost 4-1 at home to Rochdale last August?

It's all about the whole season Richie. Orient did superbly well on Sunday and hats off to them but it would be foolish to say that they play like that every week.

If we play every week like we did at Spurs last season, we would be well safe.

As Uncle Spielberg says, we would beat Orient more often than not - hopefully we WONT get the chance to prove it next season.
