Come on my son !.

Henman showed a steely resolved today and previous years he may have caved in. He looks promising to win this thing.

He's 6/1 because he's beaten 3 muppets and a bloke thats been out of form all year. He has to beat Roddick and Federer if he's to win. Lets face it 6/1 is really piss poor odds....especially as he's 8.4/1 on Betfair

Whatever your opinion about Henman the atmosphere with him on Centre Court is unique in sport. Gripping stuff tonight!

can all these wanky tennis threads be kept in the same one. some of us really couldn't give a f***.

Sorry Benny.

I'll stick to the how many sheets of loo paper I use, when I lost my virginity & what I ate for lunch threads in future.

They are, after all, far more relevant.

It's because the bookies realised that you'd backed him large Gareth. He can't win with the GG jinx on him :)

who went??

Watched it on Henman Hill. Brilliant atmosphere.

He should get past Ancic ok in the next round but Roddick in the semis could be a different story

he played quality stuff i have to admit.

I think that England letting me down has dampened my enthusiasm for Henman at the moment.

I do hope he does well, but i see myself being let down twice in a fortnight !

He will inevitably lose at some stage but if he keeps tryng to hit winners on the return and taking risks on his 2nd serve, that's good enough for me. At least it will be "glorious defeat" for someone who is playing to the best of his skills rather than the normal "out with a whimper rather than a bang" :)
