Providence, RI, the home of Hasbro Toys, has/had a score or more fiberglass Mr. Potato Heads scattered through the city, each decorated by a different artist.

Portland, ME, ditto, with lighthouses.

I think the original cow thingy started in 1999 in Chicago.

I was in Zurich, 3 years ago i think, and they had this thing going on where every shop had a brightly coloured cow in front. They could be the same cows, or just a case of the whole thing catching on?
