This time last week we were pissing it up in London on a high!! But we played like the last twelve minutes of last week the whole fecking game today!

Dobbie was good on the ball but looks like he will be more effective working deeper behind the main striker rather than leading the line.


Brum offered nothing, they came to shut up shop and hope for a draw, hit a rasper from 25 yards out and it was a corker. In fairness they held their nerve and defended with a highish line and we just couldn't break them down.

Not sure what you call long enough but half an hour is a third of the match that is PLENTY long enough and I hardly noticed him

The longer it went on the more it felt like one of those games when nothing was going to fall for us.

We got it wide and Buckley/Lua Lua/Bridge got behind the defence often enough, but crosses were either too close to the keeper, heavy and beyond everybody, or blocked off by an alert defender. We certainly missed Macca's ability to nip in front of a defender at the near post and get a toe on it.
