With the emphasis on getting as many supporters to the new stadium by either public transport, walking, or cycling etc.

Are there any provisions for those walking from the South ?
I will be walking from Rottingdean and once at the top of the Falmer road at Woodindean the pavement ceases thus having to walk either on the road or the sloped verge, neither ideal.

I have not seen any plans for a footpath , so assume there wont be one, are there any bridle paths current or planned that will take us from the top of Woodingdean to the stadium more safely that having to walk the road ?

I'm afraid not. The problem is with lighting. The lighting proposal has met with a lot of opposition particularly now that the area will be in the National Park. This may be something you want to bring up with your local councillor, they are the one who might be able to have most influence on this. However it is unlikely that the council will be able to afford it.
