Argue both ways. Could be said that Claridge would be most effective when his old legs are up against tired defenders. On from the start he may not get a look in. He hasn't played league football since May 2003.

Claridge... as said earlier, he is a striker... Virgo should start in place of Big Guy IMHO...

Played 12, won 5, drawn 3, lost 4 :)

Claridge, Virgs honeymoon period is over IMHO.

???

What? In your humble opinion? Honeymoon period? Stupid opinion more like. where have you been? Virgo is our top scorer this season. Claridge is an old man who, until we signed him for a month, was unemployed.

claridge everytime, plus we can have battle of the old timers- clardige in the blue corner and sheringham in the well err red corner?

Claridge v Sheringham? Where does all this rose tinted veiw of Steve Claridge come from? Am I the only one who think yes he's a journeyman professional, but he's no Teddy Sheringham. Not even a Bobby Zamora.

Erm isn't everyone forgetting something...
Adam Virgo
Played 16
Scored 4

Leon Knight
Played 14(1 sub)
Scored 2

Leon can't hit the back of a bus at the moment and you don't leave your top scorer out of of the team just because he isn't playing as well as he was 3 weeks ago. Knight hasn't been consistently playing well(and scoring) since this time last year and he has absolutely no confidence in open play.

Therefore Virgs & Claridge up front!
