Very eerie start to the game

How quiet was Withers at the start? It was sooo quiet that it was unnnerving. Glad it livened up though and there were lots of first time kiddies at the ground that hopefully (I'm sure they did) got a real buzz from a great game. Well done to the club to get the family section fill again. All bodes well.

Seeing Bevendean Hillbilly and me dancing around like little girls every time we scored was probably a little too much for a young fan and to all the parents I can only apologise. I will be repeating this against Mansfield.

(Where was the Burgess Hill Massive singing section today? We outsung you!)

...and this is why I prefer the family stand. You get a really good atmosphere without the moaning.

Might have had something to do with people walking passed a fellow fan as paramedics tried to revive them...

Certainly made me feel slightly strange.

Also prob half the 6000 were suffering varying degrees of hangovers, i sure as hell was.

two pints in the sportsman before the game sorted out any issues for me
