I went down the Olympic run in Lillehammer in Norway year back but in the summer so they have a bob on wheels. I did so with a fat Greek shipowner sitting on my lap. It was less shit than it sounds. FACT: there are only 15 bobsleigh runs in the WORLD.

Anyone see the Inside Sport programme on Down Hill Skiers last night? It takes some bottle to do the down hill, let alone at those speeds. The incline they ski down is unbelievable - respect to all of them! They spoke to the defending Olympic mens downhill skier who had a bad crash a while ago and despite making a full physical recovery can no longer ski as it holds too much fear for him! They did show some pretty spectacular crashes including one that paralysed a skier they then interviewed. He basically went through the safety net and was stopped by a pile of rocks which snapped his spine in half.

My fav event is the ice hockey, never seen a live game - always said I would like to see one and never got round to doing it so far!

When I went to Bulgaria skiing I saw a ski jump competition, that was good fun.
