I want my votes to go to those who come across as genuine sportswomen first and foremost, who'll agree to some publicity pics for a bit of cash. I'm not so into all these Yetanuvva Madeupnaimova types no-one's ever heard of who just seem like soft porn models who, um, err, are also junior tiddlywinks champions, honest!

I've never heard of that surfing bird (I mean, surfing!?), and fine though she is/wouldn't chuck it out bed etc etc she just comes across as an anonymous bikini model to me.

Feels like there are almost two types of contestant in this tournament.

I can see exactly where you're coming from, and I too balance sporting ability alongside looks when I'm voting.

However, I think with regard to nearly all the ladies in the last sixteen you are wide of the mark...

Stokke - National pole vault champion and record holder.
Belbin - US Champion and Olympic silver medallist
Pendleton - NINE times WORLD champion
Sharapova - current WORLD no2
Kirilenko - world top 20 and rising
Leskinen - bronze medal at Winter X games, pinnacle of world freestyle skiing
Ivanovic - current world no1
Emms - Olympic silver medallist
Rawson - pro golfer on the LPGA tour
Jones - probably the only one where your point is fair, though she was national junior champion
Unitt - 64 international caps
Grigorieva - Commonwealth Gold and Olympic silver medallist. Currently 'Olympia' on Aussie Gladiators!
Bia and Branca - Represented Brazil in international competition
