Using someone else season ticket

Not sure if it is the same now but I have forgotten my season ticket before now and went to the office and they issued a paper one with no charge perhaps there is the £5 admin charge now.

Isn't passing it on to a friend just the same as upgrading a child ticket to adult? I have to do this for most evening games and never have a problem, they obviously know it's for someone else. So why would it matter when switching tickets between adults?

I suspect this happens maybe a dozen times each match, the club would hardly be in a position to offer 5,000 switches between adults every game and besides the upgrading of a child ticket is far far less likely to be touting
