I was thinking about that the other day. Surely there comes a point when it is not humanly possible to run faster?

There is no finer sight than seeing a sportsman at the absolute top of his game, almost perfection.

There is a theory that he could break the world record - certainly at 100m - but that he is holding back to break it in small increments at the lucrative track meets that are held around the world. Big bonuses if you break a world record - so why smash it at the Olympics if you could skim it again and again for the next year and get massive bonuses?

Interesting looking at how long those 100m, 200m and 400m relay records have stood for. Early nineties, all of them. Any chance of them being broken this games?

Didn't know there was a 4x1500m relay
