McIlroy making history - no one has been -13 at any point in an entire US open before, he is currently -13 still in his 2nd round. Incredible performance so far. Will he choke again!?

Presently -12 and with a 9 shot lead, on course for back-to-back -6 rounds.

This is an unbelievable performance, he's 1/4 odds-on with the bookies to win, the next nearest is 20/1 Yang.

Even Woods at his best never tore up a field like this.

Long way to go and good players still to go out but even so! Mickelson 11 shots off the lead.

It's like me playing Tiger Woods on the Playstation, only in real life. Incredible performance. Hope he keeps it together for the weekend. Might be worth a couple of small bets on some of the others though

Even if he does, he still has my admiration. A lesser mortal would not even put themselves in this position again.

He has just said in interview that the lesson he learned at Augusta was that he must keep being agressive and play his natural game. If he loses then so be it.
