It's because the insistence of having the semi on Saturday and the final on Sunday f***ed up things yet again, because surprise surprise the weather is not that great in New York. Absolute fuckwits. 5th year in a row, SURELY the TV figures can only have suffered due to this but yet they persist.

So if it were a Wimbledon men's final, on a Monday at 4pm do you think there would be empty seats ? Also noticed loads of empty seats in Murrays semi final too !
To be fair to the yanks the majority only get 2 weeks leave a year. Most work longer hours each day and less holiday than us.

To be fair, it looks quite full now, perhaps Azure have the catering contract and they couldn't handle the queues until well into the first set ?

to be fair we might see some if Wimbeldon held 28000..and as you say it's starting to fill out now. just lazy yanks can't be bothered with the first(most vital) set
