According to the reply I received, the issue will be discussed at the Council's Environment Committee on the 18th of March.

Don't panic about an apparent delay of six weeks. The Club already has planning permission for the extra seats. This issue is simply about the traffic regulation order that is necessary to enable the Park & Ride to come into effect. It will be passed on 18 March and comes into effect seven days later - well in advance of any road closure actually happening. That will have to wait for the seats to be built - which will happen over the summer.

yeah got back to work after over a week off and had an email from the bloke! Nice to know we are being heard
