Mitoma called up by Japan, obviously.

First team players aside, the ROI have named their squad, and while Evan has made the cut, Andy Moran won't feature for either the senior team or the U21s. We do have three players in the U21 squad: O'Mahony, Mullins, and Slater.

Sima has been called up by Senegal, which suggests the injury he suffered in Brest's last game wasn't severe.

Baleba also called up by Cameroon, but Georginio left out of the France U21 squad, which means he won't face Hinshelwood and Beadle's England U21s this month.

Freddie Simmonds and Harry Howell once again named in the England U-17 squad for their 2025 UEFA European U-17 elite qualifying round fixtures at St George's Park this month.

No other Albion call-ups for the England age sides (beneath U-21 level) this time around but some other names with an Albion connection: Shim Mheuka called up to the U-19s and Toby Collyer and former Albion trialist Sydie Peck called up to the England U-20 squad.

Minteh called up by the Gambia - he'll face Adingra's Ivory Coast on the 24th - and Gruda by the Germany U21s.

Lamptey (and Osman) NOT called up by Ghana, surprisingly.

Likely Hurz playing mind games because we can't tell Ghana "he's injured" and then play him the day after. According to FIFA regulations that could have way too much consequences.
Sorry, so he is injured but we're pretending he isn't for now? Because otherwise it's exactly the scenario you've described.

I would imagine, yes. Would be surprised to see him tomorrow.

City doesn't need to know stuff (we probably didn't expect Ghana to mention it).

Without Lamptey we're playing Hinshelwood there, and that gives away some info about both midfield and RB.
