Definately THIS old style Ultravox which a hint of modern

A mate of mine's dad is friends with Chris Cross, the bassist. I asked him to pass on that Lie and Hello are well up there with Vienna and Hymn as all time Ultravox classics. Apparently, his reply was, "he didn't know any others, then?".

Is this John Foxx style Ultravox or early 80's Ultravox (that I went mentle over for four albums)?

Post John Foxx, I never really got into them before the Vienna album, I suppose music wasn't as easily accessable in the late 70's
