Thats just made me realise how completely and utterly oblivious I am to the Charts these days. Shame really, as I have so many memories of the charts when I was growing up, I can practically plot my life around Top of the Pops and what was in the charts back in the 70's and 80's. Nowadays though ? Maybe its just something I've grown out of, but I doubt kids these days have anything like the amount of memorable music they can instantly remember and nail down to a particular year in their lives.
