Said on Sky Sports News that UEFA are planning to make it compulsory for all clubs to have between 6-8 homegrown players in a squad of 25.

No probem for us.

What if you don't have a squad of 25?

And what if your squad is bigger?

Does that mean we can just add 8 homegrown Peter Ali's to the squad?

I think it should be 6 - 8 natioanl players in your first team.

I'm all for the EU work millarkey but its seriously detrimental to the national game

just look at Wales, they've actually won a game this centuary !

I do not know the answer I am afraid fatboy.

On Sky Sports Harry Redknapp was saying it would be good as long as by homegrown, it didnt mean 'players that arsenal have nicked from France when they are 16'.

id prefer 5 homegrown players in your match day squad of 16.

sure it might be 5 english subs but its a step worth taking. insures the english players get a go.

Unless when they break into the first team they qualify for English passports and can play for England! :clap2:

I don't know what was wrong with the old system of only 2 foreign players in your side when playing in Europe.

You should only be allowed 3 subs in international friendlies.

If you're in an offside position then you are offside. No 'active role' bollocks.
