Lee Bryant, 16 (Hurstpierpoint), Downlands School, Defender.
Centre half, very tenacious. He’s a Crystal Palace fan though! Been involved in the FA Youth Cup this season.

Sweet, a player from my old manor.

Met Kane last year - he joined in our training as his dad was playing for my side. Skillful player - bit lightweight but then weren't we all at 15 years old!

He is very dedicated about wanting to be footballer. His dad (who is no angel) is very proud of him and says he has kept away from booze, fags and other temptations that young lads are normally drawn to.

He's a well grounded kid as well - never said anything to us about playing with the Albion. We only found out when we hassled his old man about getting him signed on for our Sunday side (average age 37) and were told he couldn't risk getting injured.

Lee is a superb player, i once asked him what he would do if he had to take a penalty in a shoot out as a Brighton player vs Palace. He confidently said, "I'd stick it away...no hesitation."
