"Eastbourne Borough has reached The FA Cup First Round Proper for the first time in its history after defender Stuart Tuck marshalled Borough’s defence to ensure they kept their 1–0 lead over Bishop's Cleeve. Now the only non-league FA Cup survivor from Sussex, Eastbourne Borough’s 1–0 victory has earned a hotly anticipated home tie against league side Oxford United. "

Another very experienced member of the Borough defence. Signed in October 2001 from Worthing, where he was club captain. Previously at Brighton and Hove Albion, for whom he made 93 appearances, some as captain.

A tremendous passer of the ball, 'Tucky' is capable of turning defence into attack very quickly and has been credited with 'assists' on more than one occasion. Doesn't score many, but when he does tends to specialise in the spectacular. Predominantly a left back but equally effective in central defence.

Seldom has a disappointing game; always gives nothing less than 100% and expects the same from his team-mates. Deservedly voted Player of the Season by both Supporters and Manager in 2003/04.
