I would guess you would have to pay for any normal buses as they have a "special" fare on boxing day to cover costs, obviously they wont make money if we get on free with our football tickets.

If the club are willing to subsidise the fare, (as they do on other match days), it won't make any difference.

No they don't.
Surely the club will lay in buses from seaford, worthing, eastbourne as there is alot of fans out this way, they will want as many people at the ground spending Xmas money,
Regular fares in place I believe , the problem is the subsidy from the club is akin to the subsidy paid by the council for concessionary travel , a percentage formula of the cash fare. B&H Bus drivers (not the newer ones who are on a lower rate) volunteering to work on Boxing Day will be on roughly £30 an hour.
You never know B&H Buses might lay on a couple of additional buses running as service 12 to Eastbourne if they think the demand is there.
'The club' isn't the issue. It's about whether there will be enough drivers willing or able to work on Boxing Day to cover what's required. The drivers, I'm led to believe, are on triple-time for Boxing Day, with no contractural obligation to work.
I was told that by a driver; happy to be corrected if that's not the case.
Are the trains starting from Haywards Heath?
No trains from Three Bridges then?
Anyone know if any west coast trains are running on Boxing Day ?
Doesn't look like there is sadly.
None between 12:20am and 5:32pm on the 26th from Three Bridges to Brighton as far as I can see. The trains from Victoria aren't stopping at Three Bridges it seems.
Edit: Victoria to Brighton trains are stopping at Gatwick though, but I don't know how easy it is to get to Gatwick if public transport is limited. Coming back from Brighton though you can go direct to Three Bridges.
Thanks for that. I know the Fastway Buses run to the airport on Boxing Day, so should be ok.
Or I could just walk to the airport.
What times will the 2 stop at the floral clock?
