I went to an aussie rules game at the MCG back in July. 110000 all seater so they said. It was an absolutely amazing stadium.

It was the first time I'd seen the sport but it was very entertaining. Much more so than football. BUT, there was very little atmosphere despite it being a local derby match and there being 70000 people there. The fans were all mixed and it made for a very subdued atmosphere. A bit strange. Compare that to the atmosphere and noise of, for example, Liverpool v Everton or us v Palace which is less than half what was at the MCG and it puts it in perspective.

Carlton/Collingwood games are always big.

Always a few punch ups start in the crowd and it's always very noisy.

Being a Carlton supporter i hate Collingwood they are scum.

Collingwood are the equivalent of Palarse.

Until you have played Aussie Rules you can't understand the skill involed in taking a specky.
