do you still have to share gate receipts for cup games?
it's not like we struggle for crowds....doubt we made a massive amount on our league cup run last year

I would imagine that unless it is a game against a decent side then we would lose money on cup games due to the lower attendances. Most of the outlays are the same or nearly the same no matter how many people are at the game, and the ones like staff do not scale. For example if we need say 100 stewards for 25000, does not mean we would only need 20 for 5000.
Yes a cup run would be nice but as for making money from it no. I would imagine that TB and Gus while upset and even worried by the performance will be happy that we are not going to have a fixture backlog due to cup games and we are not going to be putting on games where we struggle to break even financially.
