Some of these photos show just what a nonsense the AONB argument was, the uni and other surrounding buildings stick out but the stadium does blend in IMO.

My son is an architecture student at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, and this semester is the one where the theme is landscape, site work, fitting the built environment to the natural world, etc, etc, and he's getting these snaps tonight....

Fits the AONB like a glove. In three years it will be like it was always there.

Can someone explain why we need to view the stadium as a blob on the landscape? Just seems a pointless excercise to me and yet people still reply with words like "stunning"
