Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons butter or margarine, divided
- 4 Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/3-inch slices
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 package HORMEL® ALWAYS TENDER® Pork Tenderloin (about 2 pounds), cut into 1-inch slices
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 1/4 cup apple brandy
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/4 cup apple cider







Normandy Pork and Apples

Servings: 8
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes

Directions
In large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add apples and sugar. Sauté 6 minutes or until golden brown. Set aside. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in skillet. Add pork. Sauté 8 to 10 minutes or until no longer pink. Transfer to platter; keep warm. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in skillet. Add onion and thyme. Sauté 2 minutes. Add apple brandy. Boil until reduced to glaze. Stir in cream and cider. Boil 3 minutes or until thickened. Add apples. Heat thoroughly. Spoon sauce with apples over pork.
