Ticket Prices at Withdean?

Anybody got any idea of how much (roughyl) match tickets were when we started off at Withdean in 1999, or in any previous seasons?

Would be interesting to see how much they've gone up by compared to inflation.

They were 12.50 weren't they? I am sure I found a stub from the Torquay game from the first season, the other day.

Nobody told ME we had to keep Torquay stubs from 1999

Insider?!?

I think the 10 year season tickets were £3500 which in restrospect was an absolute bargain that I couldn't afford.

North stand tix have always been more than £20.00 I believe.

Any ideas in which block that was?

Think the cheapest South Stand ticket now is £23.50 (adult), although i may be wrong. Not sure what the most expensive is though

So Inflation + higher standard of football + neccessary revenue increase has meant ticket prices increase by £11 quid. Impressive!

That works out at about 10% per annum, I believe.

I suspect inflation isn't quite that high!!!

It is no wonder we used to sell out every game, what with reduced capacity AND prices

£19:50 seems to ring a bell as the first price for SS singing.

What year was the singing section introduced?
A £4 increase doesn't seem so bad

Well it gives our supporters a good excuse for not attending home games.

Wouldnt call it an excuse...more a reason...
