You're are joking right. Germany is a shadow of the country they used to be. The place as a whole is going down the pan,

I went for the world cup and experienced there super efficient public transport

Frankly , all this talk of efficient Germans is in fact the past.

I went to the World Cup and thought they organised it superbly. Not saying we couldn't do so though. But I mostly drove so no idea on the transport front other than the train I got into Cologne was very nice and spacious, no one on it, as was the one I got to Munich.

Got my ticket now (in Q block, not near my seat). I may kick whoever is in my normal seat out!!
