can we do all verses of the national anthem in under two mins and maybe get into the Guinness book
or maybe if easier to beat this record

Thousands of enthusiastic singers assembled at the weekend at the Defense Stadium in Karachi, Parkistan, with an aim to break the world record for the most people singing a national anthem simultaneously.

A huge crowd of adults and children gathered to sing the Pakistani national anthem, 'Pak sar zameen' at the stroke of midnight to celebrate the country's 64th independence day.

The record attempt didn't go quite as smoothly as planned however. As the deadline approached, the crowd was still short of several hundred people and it took a flood of texts, tweets and Face book messages at the last minute to attract extra singers.

The Express Tribune has reported that the final figure was 5,857 people, enough to break the previous record of 5,248, set in 2009 by the Philippines, with participants are said to have celebrated into the night.

Contrary to some reports, Guinness World Records™ officials were not in attendance at the event, with GWR currently awaiting evidence in order to verify if a record has been broken
even if the ground is only half full it should be easy
