No not at all.

Everyone has a right to an opinion, whether people agree or think it's complete twaddle, everyone still has a right to opinion.

Highlighting people who were clearly unhappy with the way things were going, like myself, is not going to do anything and taking the piss won't do anything either.

Yes we may have got a lucky (as in Leicester only playing in second/third gear during the first-half, if they had played to their full potential then it could have been a lot more) win tonight, but the way to change people's opinions is to do it on the pitch, and after one 90 minute game, they don't change a great deal but it's a start.

I agree with your sentiments about everybody having an opinion.

However, lets get one thing straight. That was NOT a lucky win tonight.

The second half was one of the best Albion displays I've seen in quite some time. And to be fair, apart from 2 defensive lapses, we weren't actually that bad in the first half to be honest.

We may NOT have got a lucky win tonight, we may have EARNED that win properly and with good resilient football.
Why not leave out such projections when you were not at the match, because you really aren't doing yourself any favours there.

I'm resisting the temptation to gloat. Oh no, sorry, HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!

In all seriousness, this is only one win but at least the performance proves what most of us knew - that we are a better team than our recent performances showed. Time will tell whether this is the turning point, but it would be great if the Mickey-haters are proven wrong just as they were in '99 / '00.

I meant lucky win as in Leicester only playing in second/third gear during the first-half, if they had played to their full potential then it could have been a lot more

I'd say that managing to beat a team with several Championship standard players when we have a keeper making his debut, a midfielder that doesn't even know his team-mates' names yet, and no recognised strikers fit at all would suggest there's fundamentally not too much wrong.

A bit of confidence and a few less injuries and we'll be moving on. It's a shame certain people in the crowd can't be as positive as the players were tonight... and justifiably so.

Incidentally, for all those who think we were soooo much better last season, how would the squad have fared if it had faced all the injuries we've had so far? We'd have been playing kids week in, week out. There'd have hardly been a recognisable name on the bench. If that's not an improvement then what is?

But you bring us all down with your constant whinging, so name and shamed you shall be. Add yourself to the list if you want, I hadn't got you down as one but entirely up to you. There's a big difference between critique and criticism, and it's not an opinion when you're spouting off like a broken record all the time - it's 5th columnist propaganda.

Now lets see if any of you are man enough to say, yep, I've perhaps moaned a little too often of late and I apologise for dragging everyone down.

I'm not sure if I'm more enjoying the result or the thought some negative-NSC-ers are being laughed out of town tonight!

Very true. After only having seen the Hereford and Orient games that was the 1st sight I've seen of an Albion team that wore the trademarks of Adams mark 1. Keep that up and I'll be won over very easily. Top night and as you say we weren't bad 1st half Leicester were just better.

How the hell do you know that. Were you there? From the radio I have no ideaq what egar theyw ere in except that quite clearly Gradel was in fourth gear.

What's happened to you.. you used to have soemthing important to say..... now its all excuses for doom and gloom.

I agree the season has been poor, one game doesnt make a season and the jury is still out on MA but to make reasons out of nothing is desperate.

Sorry, that was aimed at RM-Taylor, a self confessed moaner. Good on you for owning up to this, for one night only though:thumbsup:

Run that past me again.

Err ... yes.

There were THREE players out injured tonight. Obviously they are key players, but this supposed injury crisis is nonsense.

McLeod did his knee in game number two, Hawkins has had a problem. Now Forster/Murray/Kuipers, this is as bad as it's been really.

Exactly what I thought. My memory of the first Adams era was that we played with real pace and aggression and, other than Man City and Crewe, this is the first real performance of that type.

With the greatest of respect Russell, you live in GRIMSBY. How on earth can you post stuff like this without being at the game?

I'm just quoting what Hawsey was saying, given that he was there. Before the whistle went for half-time, he mentioned how lacklustre we were, and how easy it has been for Leicester, mentioning they're not playing to their full potential yet.

No not being there, I can't obviously see it for myself, but I listen to what Hawsey says and that's my sound of the game.
