apart from the favourites (there/you're) it's 'loose' instead of lose that boils my piss, I don't say anything though, it's not life threatening

Yep, it's the same with 'practise' and 'practice' which even my young son's school got wrong when they sent some spellings home 'for your child to practice'...

I resisted the urge to point it out. It's not as bad as the sign at the dentists as you drive out of Waitrose Brighton 'Practicing Gentle Treatment'... Prackticking??

Southend Golf Club has a big sign outside saying "new memembers welcome" it is professionally printed and everything. So even dentists and golf club membership secretaries are thick these days.

Actually they may be the same people.
