It's the peak of any footballers career to pull on the Bristol Rovers jersey.
He's pandering to the supporters there, but when you get SPANKED by the bottom team, it's easy to see how he might feel that some footballers take it for granted that they are being paid reasonably well to do a job the rest of us would do for free.

Oh, and personally I've always quite liked Bristol Rovers. Like us, I think their fans have suffered a nomadic existence for far too long, they've sold too many decent players for well under their market value owing to economic realities, and they're a much nicer club than the twats to the south. So after we batter them (ideally 8 or 9-2) I'd gladly hope they manage to stay up.

Agreed. Never had time for Bristol City, The Gas supporters and their club just seem a lot more modest and genuine in my experience (and I've lived in Horfield and Ashton Gate for a while).
