THE Withdean is how you refer to our stadium....

It has only ever been called The Withdean by ANYONE since the Albion started playing there.

Before that it was Withdean Stadium.

The area is Withdean (not Westdene, that's over the other side of the hill)

Personally I think people call it The Withdean in an attempt to make it sound a bit grander/more important than it actually is.

You're a pupil at Westdene Junior School, yet you were born in 1985? Talk about being kept back.

Maybe someone should make a poll to gain a better view of how people refer to it.
For me, it's 'Withdean'. Or 'The Withdean Stadium' - as in the stadium of Withdean. But never 'The Withdean'.
