The "will he/won't he Noone to Cardiff" thread

We are unbeaten in six, a sequence in which Noone hasn't featured. It'd be a shame to see him go as he is an exciting player to watch and seems to be quite a likeable lad, but ultimately we can't guarantee him first team football and £1m represents good business and funds to strengthen where we really need it.

We dont guarnatee anyone 1st team football.... only CMS Greer and Bridcutt could possibly say they know they will play if fit.

We dont need to sell Noone, we shouldnt sell Noone, I will be gutted if we do.

Any re-shaping/players leaving should be left until the summer now.

Ok, maybe not the reserves, but he could well find himself a fringe first team squad player here, and might be very fed up if we have blocked a move to a higher paying, higher placed club.

A fringe player? Really? We've got Noone, Buckley, LuaLua and Vicente who are really wingers, although I suppose Harley was playing there on Saturday and wasn't terrible. You can exclude Vicente for being... well Vicente and I'd rate Noone over Harley in general (although Harley is handy in set pieces). Buckley is, I would imagine, a lock at this point, but has LuaLua played for a full 90 yet this season? I think Noone has certainly got a space if he wants it.

To my mind KLL surpassed Noone in the pecking order recently.

I'd be more than happy to see Noone stay as I think he's a good little player but i'm not convinced he'll still be here after today, I'll be glad to be proved wrong though.

Not sure if it's relevant to a transfer happening or not , but Noonie drove past me on the A27 this morning. Hopefully to join the team coach for tonight's game !
