Is this something to do with Easter? I don't get it

Although I am booking it

Yep.

Fri April 22nd = Good Friday Bank holiday
Mon April 25th = Easter Monday Bank holiday
Fri April 29th = Royal Wedding Bank holiday
Mon May 2nd = May Day Bank holiday

Therefore (assuming you don't work weekends), book the three days Tue 26th to Thurs 28th April and you get 11 straight days off work

im not sure i understand the fuss. untill yesturday you could have had 11 days off for only 4 days holiday booked. who was bothered? now its for 3 its meant a rush to HR ???

in the middle of easter and everyone else doing the same, you'd better book whatever you want to do that week sharpish too.

If you are able to earn a living at what you actually enjoy doing, you are a very a very lucky person to the point where you don't actually realise it.
Not everyone is afforded that option.

I don't exactly hate what i do, but it is very well paid, so i do it but would rather do something else but don't wan the pay cut so that i could not do a normal " do as you like job"

I was the first person in the company to book the three days off (before anyone realised the significance). Now senior management are limiting annual leave around that period as the company needs a minimum number of staff to operate.

The early bird catches the big fat juicy bank holiday worm!
