I thought it was coming from the West Pier trust anyway.
Nothing wrong in using lottery money. I would prefer it to go on something like the West Pier than a lot of other projects.

Much of it has been private finance, I think. I should know for sure, as I wrote 10,000 words about the West Pier and the rest of them! Although that was 4 years ago now.

Certainly the i360 is intending to raise enough funds to reclaim the West Pier.
