Let's hope he gets the RUNS !!
very good Titanic... :lolol:

maybe he should try Arsene Wenger's cooking?

a long way to go in this game now... Notts definitely favourites but we've got Mushy and Rana bowling last - based on both first innings, a lead of 170 could be enough...

a characterful ton from one of Yards, Muzza or Grizz would be timely...

COME ON SUSSEX!

Very important innings from Monty. Needs to stand up and be counted, he's not been puling his weight recently.

That's enough mixed metaphors...

Now on the beeb.

Mushtaq Ahmed and Chris Read clashed angrily on Wednesday during the match between Sussex and Nottinghamshire.

The pair became involved in an argument after Mushtaq dismissed Read, with the Notts keeper thought to be unhappy at Mushtaq over an earlier failed appeal.

BBC Radio Nottinghamshire's Robin Chipperfield understands there will be a meeting between the players, captains and umpires after the close of play.

Notts coach Mick Newell insisted there was no scuffle, just verbal exchanges.

More details to follow soon

Meanwhile back on the pitch we have some more scintillating cricket .... a colossal 4 runs after 7 overs. This is what gives cricket a bad name. Wait! 3 more runs - I take it all back.

to be fair...

quote from the Arsegas

"Batting was never easy... it is hard to recall the Hove outfield being so verdant, even for the time of year. Batsmen rarely got full value for their shots"
