But you need the SWP don't you? Just as they need you.

Two irrelevant fringe movements of a few dozen saddoes who need the excitement of "radical" politics and the occasional punch-up to enliven their dreary lives.

Sounds about right.

Don't think we need the SWP they have been irrelevant for a long time. We do need the UAF as they increase our votes :D

Dandyman you forgot the English National Movement and The National Revolutionary Faction or was it a deliberate mistake as they were lead by a Palace Fan.

I could write a whole list of the Left groups past and present but it would take a week

More like a tome as large as The Bible I would have thought. I watched one of the UAF You Tube clips the other day and found the spectacle of nerdy middle class students, ageing lefties in local government and screaming monosyllabic harridans sad really. They had gone into central Birmingham to "protect" the Muslim community as if those tough Asian boys need protecting by these drips!

NO PARMESAN!

Politics bore me virtually to death. So explain :
Socialist Workers Party = good
National Socialist Workers Party = bad
Most turds look the same whatever the label:wozza::dunce::ban:

Not a fan of his but interesting how quickly the comments start using words like "******" and "ape". Seems some people never change their stripes.

One of those calling him an ape claims to be black  To be honest I love Weyman and his side kick Martin. They are as funny as f***. They make Collet look like a genius :lolol:

Let's hope Trotskyism is dead; I remember the SWP causing industrial havoc with their infiltration of the Labour Party and the unions in the 1970s.

erm..the Trots in the Labour Party were the Militant not the SWP, whose influence in any union is post 1970's.

Serious question. How do you honestly feel when you debate with Cov's he normally wins over you 9/10 times?
You are both clued up when it comes to politics, far more then myself. But to come off 2nd best to a bnp voter must damage you in some way?
At least your a decent fella:thumbsup:

I dare say some had duel membership. But are you seriously saying that the SWP was not involved in union agitation during disputes such as Grunwick in 1977?

I don't doubt that they tried to latch onto disputes but their influence within the trades unions was marginal at that time. The Grunwick dispute was also far more to do with a group of poorly treated workers seeking to establish their right to unionise rather than that phantom "outsde agitators".
