We have just acquired three gerbils for Giraffe's Son as a slightly premature Christmas present.

He has had the wisdom to name them Brighton, Hove and Albion.

I think this could be the turning point. Watch the wins come in now.

 

[Gully]

This a bad omen, Brighton will probably leg it at the first opportunity, Hove will be eaten by the cat next door and Albion will die in mysterious circumstances only to be flushed down the toilet by Easter.

 

[Giraffe]

Early signs are that Brighton is the most confident of the three. Hove is a little nervous and Albion appears to be trying to bring the other two together.
